At Whitsand Bay, just outside Plymouth and across the Tamar in Cornwall, there is a little holiday resort where you can rent chalets, or pitch a tent. In the shop there are a few old bicycle posters, so I snapped a few photos (amidst bizarre looks from the lady behind the cash register!).

These seemed like original signs and they certainly looked very old. I don’t think whomever put them up is concerned with cycling or bicycles, as there were other non-bicycle signs too. It would seem that instead somebody collects old signs.
Mind you, while you’re there, go have a meal at the Vaults restaurant. Wednesdays are apparently “steak nights” and they do an exceptionally tasty rib-eye steak that melts in the mouth!
